The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Hi! My name is Justin, mild-mannered photographer by day, slightly less mild-mannered photographer by night. I've had work featured in multiple publications, and also volunteer for an organization called Snapper providing photography for charities.
